We provide a unique calendar link (iCal) that you subscribe to on your phone. Once added, we manage the events remotely.
What happens on Bank Holidays?
Our system detects the council's holiday schedule and automatically moves your calendar event to the correct day (usually +1 day).

2. The Service: BinSync provides an automated calendar feed (.ics) that reflects local council bin collection schedules. While we strive for 100% accuracy, we rely on public council data and cannot guarantee the absence of errors or sudden council schedule changes.

3. Subscriptions & Payments: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the 'Manage Billing' portal in your dashboard. Refunds are provided at our discretion for service failures.

4. User Obligations: You agree to provide an accurate UK postcode. The service is for personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Limitation of Liability: BinSync is not liable for missed collections, fines from councils, or data inaccuracies originating from council sources.

Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection: We collect your Email Address (for authentication), Postcode/Address (to generate schedules), and Payment Information (processed entirely by Stripe).

2. How We Use Your Data: To provide the calendar feed service, communicate service updates (e.g., "Connection Lost"), and process subscription payments.

3. Data Sharing: We do not sell your data. We share necessary data with trusted third-party processors: Google (Authentication/Hosting) and Stripe (Payments).

4. Your Rights: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support.
